There will be a work weekend in Matthews (date TBD) for La Leche League Leader Applicants who want to work on their application with others. Sponsoring Leaders are also welcome! The workshop is open to any Leader Applicant who has been assigned to someone in the Leader Accreditation Department (their Associate Coordinator of Leader Accreditation-ACLA) and completed MOST of the required reading. Applicants will be able to spend time working intensely toward accreditation with members of the LAD and other Leaders.
This event will be held at the house of Charlene Jenkins, in Matthews, NC. Contact Margo, CLA at CLA@lllofnc.org for reservations and more information. This event is *free*; attendees will only need to pay for one meal at a restaurant. Attendees can attend any part or all of the weekened.

If you are pregnant, nursing or have young children, this baby fair is for you! Our vendors offer products and services useful to moms. Vendors include healthcare providers such as pediatricians, lactation consultants, doulas, baby clothing, cloth diapers, slings, breastfeeding coalition, chef, photographer, lawyer, maid service, and other local businesses and organizations catering to families with babies and young children. There will be car seat safety checks by certified technicians and free classes on Birth Options, Breastfeeding Basics, and Breastfeeding While Working. Great raffle prizes will be available.
