LLL Membership

Membership fees paid to your local Group or LLL of North Carolina help to support LLL locally.  Your membership helps your local Group and La Leche League of North Carolina to continue its mission of providing information and encouragement for breastfeeding women around the state. Without contributions from our members, La Leche League would be unable to provide this vital mother-to-mother support.

An annual LLL of NC Regular Membership is $40 per year, and a Sustaining Membership is $100.00 per year both of which are tax deductible.

Benefits of membership also include:

• Special member's discount on registration fees for LLL events, including Area Conferences and Communication Skills Workshops
• A one-year subscription (six bimonthly issues) to two e-magazines, both filled with inspiration, practical hints, the latest breastfeeding information and much more:
  • New Beginnings, a national e-magazine published by LLL of USA
  • Breastfeeding Today, an international e-magazine published by LLLI;
• Unlimited use of Group lending libraries;
• Participation in monthly Enrichment Meetings. These warm, informal meetings for members focus on a variety of topics, usually centered around parenting issues; and

We encourage you to become a member of La Leche League, although membership is not required to attend meetings or to receive breastfeeding help from a Leader.
