LLL Membership

We encourage you to become a member of La Leche League, although membership is not required to attend meetings or to receive breastfeeding help from a Leader.

The membership fee helps to support your local Group and enables La Leche League International to continue its mission of providing information and encouragement for breastfeeding women around the world. Without contributions from our members, La Leche League would be unable to provide this vital mother-to-mother support.

Benefits of membership also include:

* A one-year subscription (six bimonthly issues) to NEW BEGINNINGS, a magazine filled with inspiration, practical hints, the latest breastfeeding information and much more;

* Unlimited use of Group lending libraries;

* A 10% member's discount on most purchases from the LLLI Catalog, which features a wide variety of outstanding publications on breastfeeding;

* Participation in monthly Enrichment Meetings. These warm, informal meetings for members focus on a variety of topics, usually centered around parenting issues; and

* Participation in LLL special events, including local and international conferences, with a special member's discount on registration fees

There are several member levels from which to choose:

Supporting Membership - $25 a year

· Online confirmation/ thank you
· Discounts at the LLLI online store
· Discounts at LLLI and Area/Affiliate events
· Knowledge that membership is supporting LLL and breastfeeding mothers and babies

Regular Membership - $40 a year

· All Supporting Membership benefits PLUS
· Subscription choice of: NEW BEGINNINGS or NUEVO COMIENZO

Sustaining Membership - $100 a year

· All Regular Membership benefits PLUS
· Additional benefits offered and provided by local LLL Groups

Premier Membership - $250 a year

· All Regular Membership benefits PLUS
· Additional benefits offered and provided by local LLL Groups
